I don’t know how far Johanna got into this book, but I gave up after about 95 pages. Just not doing it for me. Man who works as a flavor developer testing rats discovers the company he works for is out to develop a new sweetener despite the damage it might do to humans. Whistle-blower gets fired and then years later witnesses the damage it is doing to the consuming population including his own family.
