Over the course of the last week, the SO public libraries have been visiting our local elementary, middle, and high school to spread the word to all students to apply for a public library card.
As you all know, WOS now houses grades K-2 and has back a full-time librarian. Visiting the school has been fun and very rewarding. In spite of all the technology that teachers and students have available to them at this level, the kids still love to have a story read to them. Hopefully, by promoting reading, these young students will never lose their love of books.
