I hadnt’ seen this until last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hugh Grant plays a character by the name of William Thacker, the owner of a small travel bookshop in London, who is lucky enough to have the girl of his dreams, the famous actress Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) walk into his shop one day. The cast is filled with quirky characters, most notably William’s flatmate, a thoroughly hopeless sucker whom you just want to smack upside his head, although he does manage to redeem himself along the way. It’s a feel- good romance that makes you laugh out loud and forget any troubles. I give it 4 stars.
