I recently visited Cape Cod and as I always try to check out a local library, went into the Provincetown Library. Being a fan of mystery novels, I was glad to see their mystery section was quite large, almost two whole sides of a stack. Also, one of the sides on which they were shelved was the center aisle on the main floor. The newest mystery titles were shelved separately on the opposite side of the aisle, along with other newest titles. Obviously, mysteries are a popular genre among P-town patrons. I hope when our new mysteries are relocated downstairs, their circ count will improve here as well.
