This is a good combination new kindergartener/Halloween book. It tells the story of a monster who wants to be scary in Monstergarten like he’s supposed to, but he’s worried he won’t be scary enough. His parents tell him not to worry and ‘just be yourself’. For kids who are interested more in monsters than kindergarten, this is a good getting in the mood for Halloween book for youngsters starting out in school.
