“The Kingdom Keepers” series by Ridley Pearson is a fantasy adventure series for an 8-12 year-old audience. 5 teenagers- the Kingdom Keepers- appear in each book (so far there are 5 books in the series) that all take place at the theme park. Mystery, adventure and suspense for Disney-lovers. Pearson, who teamed up with Dave Barry for the “Peter and the Starcatcher” series takes advantage of the built-in Disney fans who can easily recognize familiar places in the park. The Overtakers are the villains in each book. Other familiar Disney characters appear in each book such as Ariel (Little Mermaid), Snow White and Pluto.
