This is one of our new documentaries that is really strange and interesting. Vivian Maier was a nanny who had a secret life of photographing street scenes and hoarding everything. Her work was discovered at an auction where a box of her negatives was purchased by a young historian looking for photos to illustrate a book he was writing.
They weren’t what he needed but fortunately he realized she was extremely talented as a photographer and has brought her work to the attention of the public for our enjoyment. How he did this makes a very good documentary.
