This a YA novel about a person that ‘body surfs’: they change into or enter a different body every day. The person is neither male or female and each day becomes a new person. When he/she is one man for a day and falls in love with the man’s girlfriend, he/she tries continually to try to go back and enter the same body in order to get back to the girl he/she fell in love with. While there is some romance involved, the novel questions more the idea that we are who we are inside no matter what physical form we take on the outside. Does the man/woman have control over what body he/she enters next? Will he/she ever find their way back to that body?
