I have finally gotten around to this series and it is so great. I can hardly take it all in, the costumes, sets, cars, acting. Everything is so well done. Puts the Coen brothers and all the hype about Llewyn Davis Village scenes to shame. (By the way, I found LD depressing and boring except for a small turn by F. Murray Abraham.) The only thing that strikes me as hard to believe in DA is the animosity among the sisters. Real life wrecking stuff.
Can recommend Sebastian Faulks “Jeeves and the Wedding Bells” for a quick, fun read.
