This new ‘women’s’ fiction title describes Claire, mother of 2, and her husband, Chris, as they fall victim to the economy (he loses his job) and attractions outside their marriage. When Chris loses his job, they grow farther apart. When he finally gets hired he ends up travelling most of the week and the marriage experiences further strain. While Claire juggles her 2 kisd, she meets a handsome police officer and they begin spending time together. the author does not make the husband out to be a villain- only clueless. The temptation is there and Claire’s neighbor’s lives add subplot. A light, enjoyable read.
