This is the movie version of the Nanuet bank robbery and the Weather Underground activities. One member (Sarandon) gives herself up, and the story follows what happens (or has happened) to the others. An ambitious reporter for an Albany paper relentlessly unearths Redford and follows him as he contacts other members to try and clear his name from being part of the gang accused of the killings. The story touches on questions like “would you do it again” which brings the response “If I didn’t have kids and parents that I love.” The pace is slow and it was painful to see Redford jogging. I did like all the cast, many old favorites of mine: Stanley Tucci, Richard Jenkins, Sam Elliott, Chris Cooper, Terence Howard. I didn’t recognize Julie Christie!
