Psychological thriller. Geniver Loxley is a 40-something British wife who has never recovered from the death of her stillborn daughter 8 years ago. Although her husband is ready to try for a child again, she cannot. Then she receives a visit from a stranger who tells her that her daughter did not actually die and also that her husband knows the truth. Why would her husband do something so awful when he so obviously wants a child? Is this the truth? Is she going crazy? Of course, Gen pursues the truth to the danger of her life and discovers many unpleasant surprises. Recommended.
