This is a book of columns taken from the Magazine section of the times. He was “the ethicist” for 12 years, answering questions written in by people in doubt. He does a great job, giving both sides of the answer, often asking authorities for correct information. I enjoyed browsing and thinking what my own advice would be, before reading his. Very tricky stuff. He has a great sense of humor and is married to Katha Pollitt who writes for the Nation.
