Publisher’s Weekly announced its audio book winners recently. Tina Fey’s narration of her work “Bossypants” was the winner. Another non-fiction recording that received attention was the biography of Miles Davis narrated by Deon Graham. The reporter announcing PW’s winners noted that the narrator trumps content. Both Tina Fey and Deon Graham, of “The Wire” fame, were hailed as great narrators.
Other works that were mentioned in the report were “Nicholas Nickelby” in the category of classics and a new version of “A Wrinkle in Time” narrated by the actress Hope Davis.
