Another mystery with lots of characters to juggle. The main protagonist is Father Max Tudor, an Anglican priest and a former MI5 spy, who must find the villain responsible for several murders at Chedrow Castle, in the small English village of Nether Monkslip. I struggled through this, trying to keep all the various titled and non-titled characters straight. It’s quite a cozy read, though, for those readers who enjoy a lighter mystery driven by characterization, with a hint of romance involved as well.
