
Nora Hammond loves vintage clothing and works at a high-end dress shop in Manhattan. She becomes friends with one of the customers, Evelyn Elliott, who brings Nora into her sphere of very rich socialites. When Evelyn volunteers to be a surrogate for Nora and her husband, Nora can’t quite believe it is really happening – she will become a mom, after countless in-vitro sessions have failed.
