Ok, I admit, I do click on those online links every once in a while, if I happen to be reading up on a particular topic on Google. This time it was an article by Reader’s Digest, on how long to keep various foods, both in the freezer and the refrigerator. My parents used to subscribe to this magazine, and I often read the articles, so I was intrigued. A few facts to consider: it is still available, both in print and online. According to Wikipedia, the magazine has a healthy global circulation of 10.5 million. Its headquarters was first based in nearby Chappaqua, NY, but has since moved to midtown Manhattan. Its website covers many areas, such as books, humor, trivia, arts & entertainment, pets, real-life stories, etc. Just be warned that you may “go down the rabbit hole” with all the various links it contains…
