Computer Instruction and Ebooks & Devices
Instruction for beginners is available for individuals or couples by appointment. Call (845) 359-0136 or e-mail info@palisadesfreelibrary.org to set up an appointment at a time that’s convenient for you.

Homebound Deliveries
We will deliver (and pick up) books and select materials to Palisades and Sparkill residents who cannot leave their home due to age, illness, and/or physical disability. Application for Home-Bound Library Service

Are you unable to visit the library due to age, illness, or physical disability? The Palisades Free Library will deliver
books and other library materials to your home and pick them up when you are finished. Please fill out the
information below and mail or e-mail the completed form back to the library. Upon receipt of the completed form,
we will be in touch about your first delivery. Questions? Call the library at 845.359.0136.
For Palisades and Sparkill residents who meet one of the following criteria:

  • A permanent physical affliction prohibiting that person from safely visiting the library.
  • A temporary health situation (i.e. medical leave due to surgery) prohibiting the person from safely visiting
    the library. Service will be provided until recovery is complete.
  • Residency in a nursing care facility, whether temporary or permanent.
  • Health conditions associated with the elderly, prohibiting the person to visit the library safely.

Determination for eligibility is solely at the discretion of the library.
