Library Sustainability Initiative
The Palisades Free Library supports the Town of Orangetown’s Food Scrap Recycling Program by providing free food scrap collection bags. To receive a bag you must be a resident of Orangetown. Click here to learn more about the program.
The Library also collects dental waste through Terracycle. Drop off your used toothbrushes, empty toothpaste tubes, and depleted floss canisters and Terracycle will reclaim the materials to be born again.
