A young boy, Ethan, goes missing from a summer camp chaperoned by his elementary school. His mother, Kat, is sick with worry as time passes and any leads result in dead ends. She considers her ex-husband Andrew as a possible suspect, but when he finally is tracked down, he does not have Ethan. It slowly becomes clear that the boy was kidnapped as a mistake – the mayor’s son is really the target, but the two boys look alike, especially at night when Ethan was taken. A local detective and a close friend both support Kat, but she ‘s terrified that she will never see Ethan again alive. Will her son ever be found? Highly recommended; Kimberly Belle is a very engaging writer…
