Someone recommended this Teen novel to me, so I thought I would give it a try, Jennifer Barnes being a popular author at the moment. The FBI is recruiting very gifted young adults, or “Naturals” to develop their talents more fully to help solve cold cases. Two of the teens are profilers, Cassie and Dean, who are able to predict the behavior of others. Michael can read people and their emotions, Lia is a natural liar, and Sloane is a natural with numbers and probabilities. But Cassie soon finds herself in the middle of a current case involving a series of murders with a serial killer is on the loose in the area. Can Cassie and the others remain safe and find the killer before becoming the next victims? Mystery fans will be intrigued, and there’s a surprising twist at the end, too!
