Agnes has traveled from California to Iceland to clear up some past horrors in her family tree. She cannot accept that her grandmother and aunt, found frozen in the snow forty years ago, were murdered by her grandfather Einar, who was like a father to her. She accompanies a journalist, Nora, who is planning a podcast around the murders. This was a very dark tale, and not something that I would recommend, unless you are a fan of dark, Nordic murder mysteries.
