by Liane Moriarty (of “The Husband’s Secret” fame. I have read her newest book and now gone back to read some of her older titles. They are somewhat ‘chick lit’ but seem to go maybe one level deeper than that. There is more character development and thoughtful plot line. the hypnotherapist lives on the beach in Australia and is content with her life though looking for a partner. Then she meets a great guy, but he has one drawback: a stalker. It seems his ex-girlfriend has been following him/stalking him for the past 3 years. Ellen is intrigued and then brought into the tangled web of the ex-girlfriend when she pretends to be a patient of hers requesting hypnotherapy. With humor, the author draws the reader in making the pages turn fast. Another entertaining novel from this Australian author.
