This new DVD combines recent events in the news with a fast-paced thriller. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, the current PBS Sherlock Holmes, as Julian Assange the plot follows the earliest days of WikiLeaks and how Assange built his organization.
Initially, Assange and WikiLeaks are portrayed as avenging angels and basically all governments as the bad guys. We learn about Assange’s background, which is very mysterious and filled with inconsistencies. In the end, the viewer must decide whether he is out to save the world or is he out to make himself into a most powerful figure.
