Haven’t read her yet but really liked her “By the Book” in the Times Book Review this Sunday. She “tries to read a poem every morning along with her coffee: “It’s the most important meal of the day”.” Then I realized she was talking about poetry, not coffee. (I won’t hold that against her.) She also mentioned some writers she admired, adding to my list of “never heard of them” but I will research them: Helen Luke and Mark Salzman (may have heard of him).
