I enjoyed reading this new title about a blue cattle dog living on the east coast of Australia who is swept overboard during a routine jaunt with her owners to a nearby island. Sophie’s owners are devastated; Dave blames himself for bringing her aboard the boat and Jan cannot even bring herself to talk about what happened. She does manage to tell one friend, who immediately makes her feel better for unloading her guilt. Without giving too much away, this exchange becomes extremely important later in the story.
Sophie is a quick read, and I think you will find the ending to be an amazing tale!
