The Sandy Hook PTA has asked that students throughout the country create one-of-a-kind snowflakes so that they can make Sandy Hook Elementary students feel at home in their new school.  In order to create a winter wonderland for these students, they are urging schools, libraries, churches, etc. to have their youngsters create snowflakes.

We have joined in on this program.  In the children’s room there is paper and scissors available on one of the tables for anyone who wishes to contribute their creation.  So far we have 14 unique snowflakes.  I’ll be sending them to Connecticut next week.  Hopefully, we can add a few more before that time.
