This is Alice’s second time a the lake. Now in her early 30’s, Alice spent one summer there when she was 17. When her grandmother breaks her hip, Alice decide to return to the beautiful cabin with her Nan to help them both recover (Alice had a recent breakup). Arriving at the lake, Alice meets her neighbor, Charlie, and recognizes him as one of the people in the photograph she took that teenage summer that started her on her career as a photographer.
As Alice and Charlie spend more time together, Alice realizes her heart is in trouble as she and Charlie find more than a little in common. A fun read/listen.
