Janet Evanovich has written # 31 in the Stephanie Plum series, and I enjoyed reading this latest one. Stephanie has somehow become engaged to both of her heartthrobs: Ranger and Morelli. Such a dilemma! All the regular characters are back, including Lulu & Connie from the bond office where Stephanie works as a bounty hunter. Humor abounds as usual, especially when she needs to bring in a shady character who operates a produce business, and a “Robin Hoodie” who hijacks delivery trucks and distributes the goods to the homeless. Add a scary vampire to the mix and it’s just another day in the life of a bounty hunter. Evanovich wraps it all up neatly, and the ending may surprise you…
