Since I am always looking for new sports titles for kids, I had interloaned a new title about baseball: Pro Files: Baseball – Intel on Today’s Biggest Stars and Tips on How to Play Like Them. It profiles 7 players from different teams; however, one of the players on the front cover, Dustin Pedroia, is not covered in the contents. This seemed be a little odd, so I checked the record, which states that 15 players are profiled. The back cover lists 15 players, but the front cover states that it’s a “Library Abridged Edition”. The ISBN on the back cover doesn’t match the ISBN listed on the verso page. So what happened to the other 8 players, I am wondering? Just a little mystery in Libraryland …
