No, this is not to announce a new movie. In this week’s Times’ Book Review, author Alison Bechdel shares that “Harriet” was one of the most influential books for her in terms of wanting to become an author.  I also remember reading “Harriet” when I was a girl and buying my black and white composition notebook to write down my observations as I spied on people. Unfortunately, “Harriet” rarely gets checked out anymore and the sequel failed to give the original much of a boost either. Let’s hear it for all of the Harriet fans out there.
