When Grace’s married lover, David, saves a woman from being killed by a Metro train in Paris, his heroism is well documented by newspaper stories and pictures. Grace is caught in the background of the pictures, and their secret is outed. Now they must spend some time apart until everything blows over. However, Grace discovers she is pregnant, and when David suggests an abortion, she is horrified, and decides to keep the baby. When she discovers the babies are dead (she would’ve had twins), Grace is devastated, but recovers. She is a talented cellist, and has her music to sustain her. However, when Grace receives a very upsetting letter from David’s wife, she abandons her music. Her young shop assistant and elderly neighbor step in to support her, and it will be the music that ultimately brings her back to life. A very enjoyable drama, I would definitely recommend this.
