Now that the school year is about to begin, Common Core Standards will probably be on the front burner at every back-to-school night.
In an effort to reacquaint parents with some of the great non-fiction books in our collection, I have set up a very small display in the Children’s Room of non-fiction books and their Common Core Standards correlations.
I have chosen three standards from three different grade levels and featured books that can help young students develop or improve their understanding of one or all of these standards.
I hope to change the display monthly, depending of the availability of space. Please let me know if you get any feedback.
