This is the story of an incredibly manipulative woman. Frances is a rather dull editor who is the first person to stop at a car accident and the last person to speak with Alys alive. Through a police procedure she meets the family to perhaps help with “closure.” Frances takes off on an “All about Eve” adventure except she has no live person to imitate, but a dead one she needs to recreate and then become. Psychologically interesting and creepy. I enjoyed it very much.
