Weiner tells the sad story of addiction to pain killers and the problem with denial in seeking help. Not an original theme or story but well done. Nothing huge triggers the use (a sore back after exercising) and nothing seems amiss in the marriage other than the usual. But the gradual increase in use and the mega increase in denial are well done.
I’m paying more attention to cover art. This one has a roller coaster going downhill at a steep angle.
