I had a young patron today looking for a title with the description above. Hasn’t happened in a while, but I find it so frustrating when I can’t figure out what book it is. She gave more description in dribs and drabs and I was still looking long after she was gone. I thought I had found it and called her back, but it was the wrong title. She finally called me back and told me — it was the book “Wonder” that Pam had mentioned in her last post. ( The patron said it was on the SOMS page but I looked all over and didn’t see it. But kudos to her for finding it!)
