The YALSA just released the nominations for the 2012 Teens’ Top Ten. This is really cool because the titles are chosen by teens from sixteen school and public libraries across the country. The schools/libraries hold the position for two years and the teens nominate the books for this list.

Tonight I put together a packet for Maria about some display changes for the YA section and I included a suggestion for a shelf for these titles. Voting is not until August and September so if we have a display over the next few months, I’m sure we’ll have teens who will vote. When the voting begins in August, we can put out reminder sheets on the shelf with the books. What does everyone think of this idea?
