
Sam Davey is an English writer living on the southeast coast of England, which is also home to the Tintagel Castle, reputed to be the home of the legendary British King Arthur. The novel The Chosen Queen tells the tale of Arthur’s forebearers: Igraine, his mother, Dutchess of Cornwall and his father, who will be named at a later point in the novel. Davey weaves the story also around characters Merlin and Vivian, High Priestess to the Goddess, the deity at the time. It is an enthralling tale and quick read, and fans of historical romance and history will enjoy reading it.
