Amy Wheeler is an employee of the private security firm Maximum Impact Solutions. She’s been assigned to guard a famous author, Rosie D’Antonio, currently hiding on a private island from a Russian oligarch. Amy’s husband, Adam is away on business, but she speaks regularly to her widowed father-in-law, Steve. When Rosie’s chef on the island, Kevin, an ex-Navy Seal, suddenly attempts to kill Amy, the chaos begins. Someone has put a hit out on Amy, so she & Rosie are on the run, after enlisting Steve — from South Carolina to St.Lucia, then County Cork, and finally to Dubai, before they are able to achieve closure on the case. Richard Osman interjects hilarity into the more dangerous situations to keep things light, and I just loved his latest offering. Highly recommended!
