Jess leaves London after she quits her job to crash at her half brother, Ben’s place in Paris. But he’s not there when she arrives, so she sets out to determine what has happened. Nick, one of the other tenants in the posh apartment building claims he is a friend of Ben’s and promises to help Jess find her brother. But the more she digs, the more things don’t add up, and Jess begins to suspect the other tenants are holding back information about her brother. The ending has a great twist; Lucy Foley is a talented mystery writer. I give it 4 stars.
