Why should the kids have all the fun?!?

HOW IT WORKS:

Visit the Circulation Desk at the library to sign up and receive your Book Bingo Challenge card.

  • Anyone 18+ is welcome to register (certain squares will require a Palisades Free Library card to access online resources).
  • Read books that fit into the categories on the bingo card between Monday, June 22 and Friday, August 21 (or complete the listed tasks).
  • You may only count one square per book. Fill in the titles of the items as you finish them.
  • Complete any five squares to make a BINGO!
  • When you have at least one BINGO and are done completing challenges, submit your card to library staff.
  • You may start a second card only after fully completing your first card.
  • All Book Bingo Challenge card and book reviews must be submitted by Friday, August 21.

GRAND PRIZE: This year’s Grand Prize is a $50 gift card to the 9W Market (must be a SOCSD resident to be eligible for the grand prize).

RUNNER UP PRIZES: Two autobiographical journal and pen sets!

SUBMITTING BOOK REVIEWS:

To complete the square asking you to write a book review, pick up a paper form at the library (one will be provided when you register for the summer reading program) or you can submit your review online (link opens a Google form, no sign-in required). It’s quick, easy, and fun!

FINDING BOOKS:

Ask at the Reference Desk for help finding books to complete your Bingo Bingo Challenge card, check out the Book Bingo Challenge Online Guide, stop by one of the Library’s summer reading displays, or try out NoveList Plus (sign in from home with your library card number and PIN).

OTHER SQUARES:
