I am more than halfway through this new book about the demise of Jodi and Todd. The couple lives in Chicago. They have been together a long time, but never married and no children. Now in their 40’s, Jodi silently permits Todd’s indiscretions happy to carry on with her job as a therapist keeping a clean house. When Todd gets one of his girlfriends pregnant, the ‘game’ changes. Suddenly he decides to uproot and move in with the girlfriend. Jodi was the one who never wanted to make it official and get married, but now that looks like it may end up hurting her financially.
