I have recently weeded the JF PB collection. We discarded titles that had low circulation figures and had not gone out in more than five years. We also are in the process of adding JF paperbacks that are new to our collection. Many of these will fill out popular series–“Magic Tree House,” Secrets of Droon,” “Cam Jansen,” among others.
Since several of our series have mulitple locations–JE, JF, JF PB–I was thinking about creating a section for series. This area would be for on going, current series. In that way we can consolidate all copies that we own and add any new titles we receive to that collection. We could still label some with an “E” for easy readers to help them stand out from more advanced titles.
