Looking through today’s newspapers I read three articles on the discovery of Harper Lee’s “new” book. Written before “To Kill A Mockingbird,” in the 1950s, it is actually a sequel. The best commentary on this literary happening that I saw was an editorial cartoon printed in today’s “Daily News” by Bramhall. Two overfed Hollywood producer types are sitting by a pool. One turns to the other and says, “Tell Harper Lee we’d call it ‘Mockingbird Slasher 2: Boo Radley’s Revenge.’ “
